Steve Olney: I am in my mid-70s and live in the Hawkesbury District about 60km NW of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

A retired electrical/electronics engineer, I have worked mainly in the medical electronics field with periods of technical teaching.

Long-time radio astronomy enthusiast - with observations of the Vela Pulsar conducted from a backyard radio astronomy observatory (HawkRAO).

Lately (2023) I have become interested in Astrophotography - especially using 'smart telescopes'.
